Here’s the first quickie. Leftover, rock hard bagels? Used my Calphalon Contemporary bread knife to slice 3 leftover Panera bagels (plain, sesame, everything) into discs, popped them in a gallon size ziploc with 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil, 1 tspn garlic salt (ok maybe a little more, I love garlic) and 1 tspn white pepper. Remember Shake ‘N Bake? Make it happen! Into the oven at 35o on a non stick pan until golden brown – mine took about 7 minutes. Doesn’t it feel good to stretch that dollar?
